I love the quotes. I love random grammar and spelling variations. Have you seen the sign in the store front on the north side of the park? It says something like "Waooooow" I guess that's how Spanish-speakers spell "wow." My favorite I ever saw was "Se solicita deli bili." It took me forever to figure out that "deli bili" was "delivery."
I would love to follow the rules of this sign if the DOS didn't keep taking the freakin' garbage can from the corner. Currently, there is no can on that corner or on the other side. You want to throw something away, you have to walk to 43rd or 45th. Hence all the crap in the streets.
Are you sure it's the DOS that takes them away? I've seen one traveling with a bunch of youngish looking kids. Anyway, if people actually cared about where they lived they could handle the weight of their garbage an extra block or three.
You know, I'm not sure if it's the DOS. Last time all the cans on my block were gone and I called 311, the DOS called back and said they were replacing them with newer ones. It seems that every other day the two on that particular corner are missing. People just pile up their household garbage on the corner anyway. *sigh*

Hey Shannon,
