Rezoning Commission Hearing Today at 10 AM

Apparently, the Department of City Planning is holding its hearing on the Sunset Park Rezoning today at 10 am at its Lower Manhattan office at 22 Read Street. The hearing is scheduled for 10 AM. There seems to be some confusion, perhaps due to an intentional lack of communication, about whether the Sunset Park rezoning is actually being heard today. However, it seems that July 1st is the date on the information below.

I received this from a SPAN email last night:

On April 20th, 2009 the Department of City Planning certified the Uniform Land Use Review (ULURP) application (C 090387 ZMK) for the Sunset Park rezoning and referred the related non-ULURP text amendment (N 090386 ZRK) to begin the formal public review process.
