This photo is excellent in every way. (Thanks to mysteryship for uploading it to the BViB photo pool!) Not only does it feature Tony's Barber Shop (super-friendly place), but it shows the reflections of International Restaurant and Tacos Nuevo Mexico in its windows.
That's a lot of what you need to know about the changes on 5th Avenue: Tony's has been there for over 40 years, then you've got International, which is Dominican (I highly recommend the queso frito con yucca), and Tacos Nuevo Mexico (with a decent mole) rounds out the trio.
Not a bad collection if you want to know a little about Sunset Park's metamorphoses over the years.
