For all you crazy Sunset drinkers and lovers of jazz, it's time to prove you mean what you say. Those who clamor for a venue to drink in a relaxed atmosphere - perhaps while listening to some music that doesn't come from a jukebox - you soon may have your chance.

Thanks for the interest. I'm the one opening up a place. We're just in the beginning stages at the moment, but we hope to be open by the summer. As far as location goes, we're still looking for the perfect spot, but we really want to open in Sunset Park. I suggest 5th Avenue anywhere in the 60's: on either side of the 65th Street divide seems to me to be ripe for an establishment like this one. Looking forward to it!
This would be the best thing ever! Yes, please! Come to Sunset Park. Preferably close to the park itself -- so many of us would be regulars!

I think Sunset Park is the perfect neighborhood for this...
Wow! You didn't disappoint. The drinks and beer (and gourmet pretzel!) selection looks unreal. A location by the park -- maybe on 5th between the 36th and 45th Street subway stops -- could be ideal. Lots of foot traffic and you could use the park itself as a lure to people outside the neighborhood to check it out.
Good luck on pulling this together. It looks amazing!
Please consider making the venue kid friendly during the day a la Two Boots in Park Slope.
