New Sunset Park Photoblog: Sunset Park Stills

The What You See in Sunset Park idea has been taken over by another blog:  Sunset Park Stills.   It's off to a fantastic and very interesting start.  The blog author is finding photos to put up on the blog in many places.  If you want your Sunset Park photos to get noticed and published, add them to various groups on Flickr:

Photoblogger Leaves Sunset Park

I was afraid of this. Gunset Park's site has a "Farewell, Sunset Park" entry on March 20th. There hadn't been new submissions since mid-January, so I figured we were losing the person behind the photo-blog. He had some great photos to share. You can still see them (at least for a while) at gunsetpark.blogspot.com. Here are a couple of my favorite photos from his site.

Brit in Brooklyn Photographs Salt in Sunset Park

Brit in Brooklyn has fantastic photos of various events and places around Brooklyn. Gorgeous stuff. Basically, if you happened to miss an event - check his website. It will help ease the pain.

Brooklyn Blogfest 2008 Photoblogger Tribute

I didn't go. I'm not cool like that. However, seeing the cupcakes that were there makes me regret not going immensely. That, and it would have been good to ask people things like, "How do I get to put a video in a post?" I'm going to attempt to embed this video from Brooklyn Optimist (don't you love that name?) that highlights and honors the photobloggers of Brooklyn. Great stuff.
