Almost nothing gets Brooklynites more excited than the prospect of a good cup of coffee and a fresh bagel in the morning. Therefore, the opening of any new bagel/coffee establishment is greeted with barely reigned in enthusiasm and never-ending optimism. Of course, standards are high, so once reality crashes down on those dreams of coffee and bagels, the disappointed gloom of those who hoped for the best soon descends.
According to a couple of locals, the new bagel place on 32nd and 4th Avenue may be different.
Smoothies, fresh squeezed OJ, Boar's Head, freshly made salads for your sandwiches, soups....
One person who lives around the corner was also happy to see milk at a reasonable price. She also said that it's clean, bright, and has good service. There is also a seating area if you don't want to order and run.
These days, any new business needs all the help, business, and luck it can get. So stop in and check it out.
On 32nd Street and 4th Avenue, change has come.

i went there the week they "opened", a while back. lets just say i will come back and give it a 2nd chance.
I wish they'd post their hours someplace that isn't completely blocked off when they're shuttered up. I go by in the evening when they're closed, and I keep thinking I'll make a point of checking them out early some morning, but I have no way of knowing when they actually open.
Will have to try this place. Sunset Deli will be hard to top though...
i think they're open 6-6 and closed on sundays.
